The bell signaling the end of the day screeched loudly, startling me.from my dreamless sleep. Fuck I hadn't meant to fall asleep. I scanned the writhing hordes leaving the building in droves, waiting to spot my unaware but useful victim. The palm of my hand resting on the handle of my knife in anticipation. Finally spotting the dark clad girl through the mass of her brightly colored peers. I watched eagerly as she drew closer to where I was perched.   Dangling my legs over either side of the large branch and resting my head against the trunk, I let my eyes doze as the early morning light filtered in through the leaves casting shadows on my pale face. My fingers idly playing with the knife in my lap. I listened to the children happily walking by on their way to school, completely unaware of the vicious murderer only a few feet above them.  Dropping my books down on my desk I flopped down in my computer chair. Letting out a tired sigh as I laid my arm across my eyes trying to alleviate my current migraine. I was caught passing notes in my pre-algebra class, which unsurprisingly resulted in me getting detention.  Again.  I wasn't a delinquent or anything. I just have a bad habit of talking, getting distracted, and passing notes in class. I'd like to think it's from undiagnosed ADHD. Either that or math is just boring.
